And we have a completed foundation for the lower level and snow. Tis the season!

They delivered the Superior walls for the foundation and the crane was setting them in place.

The lower level footings along with the trenching for the city water and sewer have been completed. It appears that the drain tiles have also been installed.

After clearing the property the excavator dug out the area for the walkout or lower level.

We have a lot address – 1541 Edgewater Ridge – and the lot has been staked so that they can excavate and dig the basement.

I new that construction pricing has gone up but was not expecting what was coming back from the builders. Back to the drawing board and a redesign to eliminate the second floor and making the home smaller. Now it’s a 3 bedroom 2-1/2 bath at 2,500 square feet. Hopefully this will make it just a tad more affordable. (fingers crossed)

This is the renders for the first plan the architects came up with, a two story walkout, four bedrooms, three baths and a total of 3,400 square feet. I agree, it looks a bit choppy from the back but that is due to the building envelope looking like a triangle. The architect firm sent the plans out to three different contractors to see what the estimated cost would be.
