So I contacted the local closet installers and found that I could not only increase the number of drawers in my closet but I could also change the color to something other than white. This not only doubled my drawer space but it transformed the whole room (after painting) into something a bit more intimate. And for those seeing the white hangers on the back wall, rest assured that they have already been painted the same color as the wall.
I admit that I am a drawer guy and my previous closet system although nice limited the amount of drawers that were available. This setup gave me 10 drawers.
Well after a few phone calls I found Josh at a local concrete contractor. He suggested a drain at the bottom of the driveway. It was installed a lot quicker than I anticipated and the best part is I no longer have lake “Smokey Ridge” at the bottom of my driveway. Yea!
Every time it rained in the summer I would have a small lake at the bottom of my driveway which would eventually drain over a period of up to 24 hours. This winter my lake became an ice rink that progressively got worse over time.
The next new play thing? After all we don’t have any toys for the winter!
Moonbike… I even like the name.
Christmas 2021 up on the Ridge
Here are the fall colors up on the Ridge on Old Mission Peninsula. Video was taken on 10-30-2021 and the music in the back round is Sunshine In The Rain by Ryan Farish off of his album Beautiful.

I think we can all agree that the holidays appear in our lives sooner every year. Well… while shopping on Amazon their unique algorithms that displays purchase suggestions based on prior purchases, some on target, some not and some “really… what were you thinking” but on this recent buying spree the suggestion was… um “spot on”. I clicked the “add to cart” button and patiently awaited their arrival. The delivery truck just left with the box that couldn’t be opened quickly enough. One word adorable! Little hunks to hang on the tree. One is “Spa Bear the other Lumber Bear” Are there others you ask? Just look at my shopping list to see three more. Maybe a small bear tree this year!

The property next door to me was for sale, actually it has been for sale for the past 21 years. Sue the neighbor on the other side put a bug in my ear saying wouldn’t it be a shame if someone bought that property and you didn’t like them or they built something awful next to you. Well that’s all it took, I couldn’t stop thinking about it… so I bought it. Here is a video of the property.
